The old train station in Hua Hin was originally built in 1910. It was later rebuilt in 1926 in its current Victorian style by Prince Purachatra Jayakara, the former commander of the Royal State Railways of Siam.

The station has a rich history and is known for its beautiful architecture and its role in serving the royal family during their visits to the nearby Klai Kangwon.
